Looks interesting though, I say.... Just passing this on... to us kayakers, skiers, and hikers interested...

As with all the Olympus waterproof cameras, their image quality isn't up to par with other offerings. If you need waterproof (such as a kayaker) they probably make sense. If you just need a tough camera I think there are better alternatives.

I agree X2 from my experience with the earlier models. I'd have it as a 2nd camera for kayaking but I just don't kayak that much to be worth the cost. It was excellent for snorkeling though!
