Stinkyfeet suggested parking at the cog and taking the Jewel and then the Boundary Line (is that the name?) and then walking the remainder of Jefferson Notch Road for the time being. It actually seems like a real nice loop hike -- go up Cap's Ridge that way, over towards the Jewel trail via. Gulfside and down on Jewel. It's a little harder, I guess, but a great hike!
