headed up at 12:31, hour and 15 to the top of the polecat trail, easiest just to stay left on the way up the ski trail, and right on the way down. thanks amstony. hour and 15 over to d and a peaks. GREAT VIEWS!!. kinda cold, and the trail is now broken between the peaks. maybe a foot of new snow with some drifts like the fins on a whale, 3 or 4 feet high in places. hour and 8 back to the ski slopes, and maybe 45 minutes down. it was nice to get out in the light at 5:05. maybe 4 and a half hours in all. It was just like yesterday on the trails, aside from my boots, I didn't see a sole all day.
