Van Hoevenberg Trail

I'm planning a dayhike to mt.Marcy next sunday.Has someone been on the Van Hoevenberg trail lately ?

I hiked up Marcy last Sunday on the VH trail. It was a snowshoe trail autobahn. It typically stays that way throughout the winter. Unless you are hiking soon after a big storm, expect clear sailing until treeline, where you can always encounter windblown drifts.
