Trail Conditions: Muddy near the cattail marsh along Velvet Rocks Trail, otherwise in good condition.
Special Equipment Required: DEET, sunscreen
Comments: A very pleasant stretch of the AT near Dartmouth. Be sure to check yourself for ticks after going through the fields. Trail is narrow so you can't avoid brushing against the tall grass. Nice views along the large field between Hanover Center Rd. and Three Mile Rd.
