Vose Spur , Sunday Dec 26th

I know this is kind of short notice, but I figured I throw it out here anyway just in case someone wanted to join me for some bushwhacking fun. I’d like to climb Carrigain first and bushwhack down to Vose Spur, then down and out, but if someone prefers the shorter, standard route (which I have done before in winter conditions), I’d be willing to switch...

I can't go this weekend (need some quality time with my wife) but would like to go another time. I like to hike in the winter and race endurance mountain bike events in the summer. My friend Suebisket and I hike most weekends in the winter.

I was thinking of heading north anyway, but hadn't picked where. I'm eager to test my new parka Santa left under the tree! Higher peaks forecasts still look good.

What's the mileage you're proposing?
