Date hiked: Friday 6/27
hazy, humid, moderate bugs
Blueberry Ledge Trail--the usual, rocks damp from showers/humidity
Rollins Trail-usual
Kate Sleeper Trail-rocks heavily "mossed", very slippery; many blowdowns (old and new), especially between Downes Brook and the South Slide-elevation gain from ups/downs over Sleepers seems "underestimated" by quite a bit in guide
Tripyramid Trail-South Slide(s) just slightly wet; easily followable from Kate Sleeper, up/across the east branch of slide, thru scrub and up the main/west branch of slide-no problems
tops-W Sleeper, appears to be about 25 yards north of trail in a little fern clearing, no can/jar--S Tri, not sure if it's in that first clearing in woods above the slide exit or around the corner on the ridge toward Middle
fairly long slog (15 miles, close to 5000' ascent overall)-may have been "better" (and more fun)to come up the South Slide and scoot over to W Sleeper
