Trails; Pine hill, jack frost, harrington & stagecoach.
All trails very dry. even in the usual wet-spots.
West and east wachusett brook were not running where I crossed. Rare!
I did a quick up and down pine hill trail first. pretty uneventful.
Moving to administration rd. I took jack frost/mountain house up, and decended harrington to stagecoach.
The mountain laurel is approaching full bloom now and the eastern newts were everywhere. ( especially around the hemlock stands on jack frost ).
Great day to get out, on this cool, viewless, but, bug-less day.
