Date of Hike: April 11, 2015
Trail Conditions: They have plowed this approach to Wachusett's 2,006 Ft. Summit. The trails in most spots have a snow covering of a few inches , some spots beginning to be bare..
Special Equipment Required: A warm fleece and windbreaker. Cool and windy in the morning with a decent wind at the top, maybe faster wind speed than last weekend. Light gloves were nice to have.
Comments: - Road where it was plowed is snow free although still some snow & ice on the side. Very busy today, many people out, several with dogs. All dogs and owners were well behaved, people anxious to get out and enjoy a sunny day, even if it was a bit windy.
