Trail Conditions: A thin covering of snow on the road, up high maybe an inch or two. While walking up the road, a pick up and SUV drove up the road. (Water District I think) Saw a couple of other hikers using the road and one on the Semuenha (sic?) Trail.
Special Equipment Required: Carried Micro-spikes but they were not needed. Spoke to a man who hikes the road regularly and he said in some years where we get melting during the day and freezing at night, it can be pretty icy. Shell was useful as the wind was high enough to feel it push a bit. I'd guess the higher gusts were in the mid 20's
Comments: Was a bit cloudy early but patches of blue sky became more prevalent on the way down.
