Date of Hike: April 5, 2015
Trail Conditions: They have plowed this approach to Wachusett's 2,006 Ft. Summit. The trails in most spots have a snow covering of a few inches to maybe a foot higher up.
Special Equipment Required: A warm fleece and windbreaker. Temp at the trailhead was 32 and a decent wind at the top at wind-chills in the upper teens, low 20's. Light gloves were nice to have.
Comments: - Another, 99 44/100's snow free hike, just one spot high on the auto road was covered by a couple of inches of old snow and ice. Plenty of people out, several with dogs where dogs and owners were well behaved, most putting their pets on leashes, even when I said they were fine, a nice change from Bluff point the day before.
