Beaver activity near start of 2 mile logging road in is a little tricky to navigate around. The turn to go up the mountain is only marked with a rock cairn. There is substantial erosion and blowdown on the trail, and it's not marked too well. Some isolated spots of snow above 3000', but not much on the trail. Very steep trail with wet rock slabs and tricky footing, wear good shoes.The tower and cabin are in decent shape, views are very nice. Bugs were out but not too much of an issue. The 2 mile logging road (Wild Forest) can be Mtn Biked and the 1 mile trail (Wilderness) to the summit hiked. Don't miss Cedar River Flow nearby for some trout fishing.
