Conditions: A few icy spots and deep snow holes along the Gulfside - way too much bare ground to use anything but bareboots, tho.
Special Equipment: bareboots, sunglasses & sun screen. Carried but didn't use snowshoes & crampons.
Comments: A great day - very few out except for the (dozen or so) skiers. Saw noone on any summit - very odd! From Clay/Reagan, I watched the skiers on the snowfield into Great Gulf. It's unbelievable what those folks can do - when you stare down into that deep a dropoff, and then see how they totally own it, it's dizzying!!!!
