Hiked up Ammonoosuc to Monroe, then continued to Washington and down the Jewell trail. Ammonoosuc hat a decent snow cover still with a solid monorail. I was wearing snowshoes, but changed to crampons on the steeper sections. Luckily there was not too much postholing. The strech from Lonesome Lake to Washington was mainly rocks with some wet snow patches. From Washington on down to where the Jewell trail branches off and all the way down to the treeline the trail was basically dry. Below treeline down to the parking lot it was wet snow slush, mud and a few streches of dry trail that required frequent changes in and out of the snowshoes. Overall it was a pleasent spring hike with lots of sunshine and temps around 50 on the summit.
