Washington via Lion Head

Tuckerman trail well packed out as usual thanks to the Forest Service Snowcats. Lion Head winter route is well defined and very hard packed. Excellent conditions for crampons all the way to the summit. Great steps on the steep pitches of Lion Head winter route make the descent easier. No need for snowshoes. Crampons and axe are a must.
