Trail Conditions: Ice obscured by snow in hardwood section, some flowed ice on spruce section.
Special Equipment Required: Hillsound microspikes worked, Those with Katoola's spikes had more issues with slipping especially going downhill. Crampons would be overkill. Weather warmed up coming down and Hillsound's were starting to ball up
Comments: Optional - The upper summer lot was open due to lack of snow but icy in a few spots. It was full with some cars parked along the sides. I expect the Sunday night snow and subsequent plowing may block access. No Gray Jays present. Hike was in the clouds all day despite the forecast. Definitely a popular hike.
