I'd like to hike Waumbek (plus North & South Weeks) or Cabot (plus Horn and Bulge) next Thursday or Friday. At first I thought about a loop combining both sets of peaks together but at around 22 miles with +7000' for the whole loop, I decided that would be too much.
Anyone want to join me? I know mid-week is hard for many of you, but I want to stay away from the 4th of July weekend. Which means I'm leaning towards Thursday. I'll be leaving from the Boston area in case we can work out some car pooling.
Any stong reasons to prefer one set over the other? Any suggestions of making little loops out of one or the other of these groups? Nice nearby views etc?
