Perch Pond Rd squishy driving in. Parked at large turnaround at end of plowing on Old Mtn Rd, up to ridge is old road not official hiking trail but well used. About 99% packed snow with minor ice and bare spots, existing tracks are boot and paws but you might want traction after a freeze or snowshoes after a thaw. Viewpoint S of summit is bare, Squam Lake mostly still frozen but some interesting areas of open water.
