Broke trail through 8-12 inches of new snow!! Snowed on me the whole time. Bring your snowshoes, they were very helpful, arguably essential.
No wind and temps in the low 30s made for very pleasant conditions.
This was my first time up Welch-Dickey in winter (conditions). It was gorgeous even without the views, I love these little mountains. Wished I had brought my snowboard a couple times on the decent (good recon mission for future endeavors.)
