About 15 inches of fresh unbroken powdery snow
Trail easy to follow (esp now) as it's mostly a wide open old road/ski trail. Blazes are white and around shin/knee level.
Snowshoes definately still needed, quite the workout today, Neighbor broke trail all the way up and I'm still exhausted!
Great views from the west peak lookout. Could see Mt. Monadnock! We wandered a little past the summit thinking of going to the ski area, but stopped when we came to a rather steep ledge/cliff and didn't feel like negotiating it. Warm temps and a sunny, blue sky day!!! Great little hike, just enough in all this new snow!
