Parking on right side of Rt. 113 (Evans Notch Road) room for a dozen or so...
Trails: East Royce; Royce Connector; Royce Trail....all in very good shape with recent drainage cleaning and blow down removal; had not been on the East Royce Trail in a few years, some very nice rocks steps etc put in...mud pits were dry with log bridges and step stones in the worse ones..
Comments: of course summit is in NH but trailhead in ME...fog got the best today, thought I was gonna beat it but no luck...did get a little view from a herd path left (ascending) on the Royce Connector over to ledge area...it is marked with a rock and small cairn on the rock, evident...did explore the old fire tower site about 40 yards after the Basin Rim Trail/Royce Trail jct sign...since the fog rolled in, did not hit East Royce, which any hiker should do on a nice day up there!!
