Trail Conditions: Dry and clean. A few large blow downs (12" +) that can easily be climbed over or under. Some other large stuff, likely from Irene, has been cleared.
Special Equipment Required: Minimal. With warm temps everything stayed in the pack except lunch at the top.
Comments: The campground is closed so there's room for only 4 or 5 cars at the gated entry road.
A nice little 4.4 mile loop hike for Nellie's first. There was one car there when I got there. They and a few others were there when I returned. I assume all took the counter-clockwise loop as we saw no one (not a bad thing for Nellie).
