Date of Hike: June 2, 2013
Trail Conditions: All of the trails were in great condition- not too much mud and no snow whatsoever. There was a pretty extensive blowdown section on the Rollins trail about 1.5 mi or so headed away from Whiteface.
Special Equipment Used: Bug spray would have been VERY helpful for the first two miles, or so. The hot and humid conditions, along with little to no breeze allowed the bugs to swarm. Black flies were pretty relentless at the summits, too.
Comments: Hazy views, but a great day in the Whites. We started early and were able to beat the storms by an hour or so.
