Trails: Blueberry Ledge, Rollins, Dicey's Mill
Conditions: Nice solid packed out trail to Whiteface summit. Thanks to the folks from Wednesday. We used spikes to the Tom Wiggins Jct. and snowshoes went on for the rest of the day. Snow loose and unconsolidated with a firm base across the Rollins Trail. Trail up to Passaconaway summit was packed and firm. Dicey's Mill trail was somewhat fairly firm coming down from the Rollins jct. From the stream crossing (snow bridged) back to the Ferncroft Rd. the trail was filled in and very soft. It will take more hikers to really pack this section down. A fair amount of duck under blowdowns throughout the loop. A great sunny, mild day out with the 8 in our group, H. Ed, John, June, Cynthia, Bruce, Guy, and Georg. Nice taking with Michael (VFTT) and friend on the trail.
