Date of Hike: 7/19/2009
Trail Conditions: Some mud here and there, but the ledges near the top of Blueberry Ledges were dry, which was good. Dicey's Mill trail was mostly dry and very gentle, a welcome way to descend. The 1 river crossing on Dicey's Mill was very easy.
Special Equipment Required: Boots/shoes with good traction for the ledges. The breeze kept the bugs away.
Comments: For a couple of trails that appear to be rather out of the way on the map, there were an impressive number of people out there! Also, Passaconway must hold the record for most unique summit post. It's basically a 2" wide by foot tall strip of wood, with "Passaconaway - 4,043'" carved into it vertically, and nailed to a tree at the summit highpoint. Although being NH, having a summit post at all makes it pretty unique...
