Whiteface/Passconaway Trail Conditions

Hi all -

Did anyone make it up Whitface or Passconaway this past weekend? Wondering what the conditions are like.

Hi Mike,

I went up Whiteface on Friday, before the rain. No snow at all most of the way up then 2-3 feet near the top (ledges were dry though). I barebooted the whole way with no problem until the trail started to soften as I was on the ridge between the two peaks. I didn't post hole much per se, but it definitely slowed me down. It took almost as long to cross the ridge as it did to climb Whiteface, very tiring too.
When I got to Dicey's Mill trail, I was too wiped, and the time was such that I had to go down, never did get to Passaconwaway. The area certainly is beautiful though, gotta love Ferncroft.... Hope this helps.
