Started to rain as soon as we got to the Ferncroft parking lot. Foggy with no views. The trail is still about 60% monorail. The actual ledges are clear though. Barebooted the whole trail and really didn't get wet other than from the rain until the descent. The rail is packed hard in all but a few places. The last crevasse before the summit was tricky. Full of loose snow and ice. The Wiggins trail looked unused from what we could see when we passed it at the top. The thick monorail up the Rollins Trail prevented us from trying to get Passaconaway done in the same day. We figured the loop down Dicey-Mills would have been more of the same. Came back down the BLT and looped around the Blueberry Ledge Cut-Off Trail to the road. Beware.... about a 1/3 of a mile down the cut off trail your on your own for about 600 feet as all the blazes have been worn off. The PN20 saved the day, or at least about an hour of searching.
