Trail Conditions: Trails, what trails?
Hiked Zealand trail to A-Z trail to a logging road aka mud pit shown on the Crawford Notch Quadrangle 7.5 minute series. Bushwhacked approx 0.9 miles to the summit.

Very wet today. With the dropping temps, rain and occassional snow today was the perfect day to catch hypothermia, not visit a 3500 Ft summit. Bushwhack wasn't great but wasn't horrible either. Mostly through hardwood forest and spruce scrub at higher elevatons.

A quick visit to the summit revealed a small cairn. I didn't find a canister but didn't search very hard either.

Special Equipment Required: Rain gear today..

Comments: Optional - I would highly recommend a visit to the ledges (only 0.3 mi from the summit). Even with the whipping wind, rain and cloud cover I was moved by the spectacular views in all directions. A breathtaking location!
