What better way to follow a great day of hiking in the White Mountains than to spend another day hiking?
Plenty of snow still on the 19 Mile Brook Trail. No monorail yet but things are really starting to soften up, snowshoes highly recommended to preserve the track.
I promised T-Dawg her day in the woods after spending yesterday dog-less in the Presidentials. It was shaping up to be another spectacular day weatherwise.
Its become somewhat customary on these hikes to run into Lucky Laura on her way down. Always a good meet.
Trail conditions soft corn snow on way up to Wildcat Ridge. Slide crossing a fairly level trough, although that may have changed with the warm sun yesterday.
One of these happy hikers is about to finish thier third round, can you guess which one?
So much snow, views like you never get up here.
The Croo
A short bushwack leads to a wonderful ledge
Want to know where it is? You will have to follow our tracks in the snow!
Its worth finding, perhaps the best view of the Presis from the Wildcats
Terra and Mark have a summit training tradition that involves treats. Mark is getting pretty good at it.
.
There was quite alot of this dangerous activity

Thanks to all for another great day in the mountains! April is one of my favorite hiking months -- so few out on the trails, warmer temps and still snow to play in.
