Trail Conditions: 19 Mile Brook Trail was wet in many places, but nothing too bad. This trail is very easy & not steep so anyone can hike it. The wet conditions were really no big deal. We have good boots so our feet stayed dry. Wildcat Ridge Trail from Carter Notch up to the top of A peak was in good shape. No issues.
Special Equipment Required: Good boots to keep your feet dry.
Comments: The weather was good all morning. Took us roughly 2 hours 15 minutes to get to the notch. Took 45 minutes to climb the 1,000 feet to the top of Wildcat A. Had lunch at the top. The clouds were in and out so we had somce nice views of the notch and the Carters. We heard thunder in the distance to our south around noon so we headed down from the summit. Some rain came in as we were hiking down 19 Mile Brook.
Completed my 28th 4,000 footer.
