Initial river crossing requires using rocks with water flowing over them. That was no problem with waterproof boots and gaiters, but some others I met had to use Lost Pond Trail. Dogs, especially little ones, may need to do some swimming but mine loves brooks. Trail up to E dry. From E to D there is snow in places but it was compacted or shallow, so not a problem. Beyond D a ways there was more snow. Most difficult part of the trail was the small section above the gondola to D; there were so many people on it.

Great views in places.
