Date of Hike: Thur. 12-10-09
Trails: Polecat ski trail.
Conditions: 8" to 12" Unpacked, ungroomed snow with higher depths in the drifted areas. Snowshoes a must. Other traction not needed.
Windy conditions today but the air temp. was mild enough that the wind chill didn't feel that bad. Face protection was helpful. They're supposed to open tomorrow, so the trails should be groomed.
Had a great hike today with Bill Marcotte. We didn't see anyone else on the trail.
