Date of Hike: Sat. 01-09-10
Trails: Polecat Ski Tr., Wildcat Ridge, 19 Mile Bk. Tr.
Trails more packed than from yesterday's post. Polecat was groomed and mostly styrofoam. The ridge was somewhat soft but with a firm base. Coming off of Wildcat "A" was rather slick. We did some butt sliding and in some cases not intentionally. 19 mile brook trail is like a concrete sidewalk (as usual). There's going to be a lot of folks staying at the hut tonight.
19 mile Brook can be bare booted but for the other trails, snowshoes were the order of the day.
Nice meeting Farmer and Company, along with Hiker Bob, Scoutmaster and company.
