WildCats 8/10
Trail Conditions: 19 Mile Brook Trail was cake, and the conditions were wet but not bad at all. Wildcat Ridge Trail was wetter and muddier but still in good shape. Wet ledges coming down (AT South) into Pinkham was slippery and technical as it's a steep descent with a bunch of scramble descents if you are heading in this direction. Alot of new trail work has been done in this section. Many thanks!
Special Equipment Required: No special gear required of course, but the mighty "trekkin' sticks" were awfully handy in spots.
Comments: Great hike, it was my hiking partner's first 2 NH 4k's and i already had peak D, but now have peak A to add to my list as well. Good weather and clear starting off, got to Carter Notch Hut in 1.5 hrs. Took most of the rest of the day to get to Pinkham, then hitched a ride with a RMC trail crew member. Thanks!
