The Shawangunk Ridge Biodiversity Partnership will be presenting a lecture series on wildlife and habitat-4 weeks in New Paltz, plus 2 more in Ellenville. The lectures will be Thursdays from 7-8:30 PM; the first one is tomorrow night.

2/14: Monarch Butterflies, Jerry Dievendorf, Field Researcher
These two will be @ Ellenville Public Library, 40 Center St:
2/21: Co-Existing w/ Bears, Matthew Merchant of NYSDEC
2/28 Deer, Thomas Rawinski of US Forest Service
If a lecture is cancelled due to weather, they will try to reschedule in March.
Admission to all lectures is free.
I think this will be an excellent series and I plan to go to as many as possible.
