Will the real summer solstices day please stand up!

I have seen various dates for the start of the 2008 summer season. According to a number of calendars, TV programs and on-line charts there is a split decision between June 20, 2008 and June 21, 2008 (7:59pm). Will someone please verify. Thanks

According to the USNO's Earth's Seasons page the summer of 2008 starts on the 20th of June at 23:59 UTC, or 19:59 EDT. For those not used to 24 hour time, that is 7:59 PM.

Note that June 21, 0:00 UTC is still June 20, 20:00 EDT
