Access from Rt 23 trailhead.
Our party of 3 ascended this beautiful peak on a packed trail. One of us used 10 pt crampons. The other two bare booted. We met 3 other groups of two. Two groups had msr snowshoes and group 3 had stabilicers. All parties appeared to have it under control, so today, any foot device (including bear booting) worked...
Temps were from single digits to 20+/- deg F (without windchill). So a layered wardrobe throughout with wind protection was defintley the appropriate attire.....
