Showing her stupid drawings in a video story only reinforces her pathological need for attention. The media never learns or maybe they just suffer from the same condition. I agree with una-dogger that the sentence is WAY too lenient.

Art, not vandalism? Scary part is that many "artists" feel that way. Another scary part is that the attention she got, in some cricles, will have some career value. Community service? I guess that means teaching art to disadvantaged kids? What a joke the prosecutors are ... people have gotten worse for doing less.

A moral from the story? It is much less risky to spray paint graffiti in National Parks than on New York City subway cars!

Simple solution. Take away her phone and ban her from all cellular subscriptions. http://www.removed.social/0ewj0cra3pszmr7hv0miv31d2hsm0d

This gets my vote. Jail time is too severe, so hit her where it counts! Some people feel so entitled that their personal needs trump everyone else's. The logical conclusion: Hey, the street in front of your house is public property. What could I possibly draw there? Let's hope she uses one of those 200 community hours to think about that.

Sounds like a way to modernize the ankle bracelet. The bracelet cuts one off from society by simply keeping one close to home physically. This is an ankle bracelet along with no access to interactive technology. Good idea.

Some of us would not find this a punishment though. ;)
