The trail to the col between Wright and Algonquin generally consists of ice with some loose snow covering it. There is also some mud, and several streams are open across the trail. Microspikes worked well to the col. From the col to the summit cone there is packed snow. The cone is almost completely encased in ice. There is little snow in the hollows. G10s were OK for climbing but barely sufficient for descending. The cone could be described as potentially dangerous at this time.
