An absolutely glorious day to be out in the mountains. Trail broken to all three summits. Used snowshoes the entire day, did not need crampons. Very windy but not intolerable on the summits. A good time of the year to do Iroquois: no cripple brush, no bogs, no trail; just head across above all the riff raff. 360 degrees views from all summits, extremely beautiful. Entire trip 5.5 hours. Winter hiking is great . . . and the butt sliding down Algonquin on the return trip . . . fabulous long runs. The only difficulty the entire day was getting into the Loj on that road, wowzers, thought I was going to lose the car a few times.
