From Loj, we encountered several inches of new powder over a packed base. Wore snowshoes all the way on blue and yellow trails and changed to crampons for summit trail to Wright. Views above treeline were awesome. Footing was difficult due to thin layer of ice on rocks above treeline. No wind and comfortable temperatures in 20's made this strenuous hike a pleasure. Encountered skiers and snowboarders on Algonquin trail; Wright ski trail is being skied but access over the summit will be challenging due to ice.
