Trail conditions from the Loj were well packed making snowshoe travel easy. A couple of the standard icey spots to deal with above and below the falls but no big deal. Before we broke above treeline heading towards the summit of Wright we switched to crampons, good thing as the weather changed from calm winds / light flurries to some nasty conditions with a zero view index. Some dangerous ice above treeline, a thin, hard covering on the slabs not allowing for any real bite with the crampons, a slip and you could find yourself going for a ride. Typical gear required, but wished we had an extra layer for the summit. Out at 7am back by 2pm. A great day. Jim/Dana
