Wright via Ski Trail, Nov. 28

One inche of snow on the ground the first mile, then two to three till intersection shortly before McIntynre Falls. Ski Trail has 12 to 15 inches of packed snow, just enough to wear the snowshows and climb comfortably to the, as usual, cold, windy and foggy summit of Wright. To our surprise the snow didn't get deeper as we ascended.

In the morning as we signed the register we heard a couple of gunshots nearby and sure enough when we returned around 2PM the last .3-mile the trail was decorated with a long and wide red line...
