Climbed Wright today from ADK Loj parking lot. Started out with temperature of -10 F. The trail conditions were great all the way to the trail junction to Wright. We were in snowshoes all the way along the hard-packed snow trail. From junction to summit, conditions changed. Deep snow to tree line. Above tree line, bare rock with a few ice patches here and there; not much to bite into. The winds were blowing 20-30 miles per hour. The view from the summit was spectacular. A glorious day to be out.
