Did the Garden-Yard-Big Slide-Garden loop on May 11th. Trail is in great shape going to JBL, nice and dry. Klondike trail and its offshoot that heads up to Yard is also in pretty good shape - somebody had been through with a pair of clippers in the past few weeks and brushed it out nicely (there were fresh clippings on the ground, thank-you to trail maintainers everywhere!). The trail was a little damp going from Yard to Big Slide, but that's not unusual. Never did find the Big Slide summit marker. The trail between Big Slide and the first Brother was quite wet and there were a few bits of ice remaining, but all of this was easily manageable. All in all, it was a nice hike and the trail was generally in good shape.
