The small moose bog at the end of my road on Rt 2 in Gorham seems to be getting active. I havent seen the moose but plenty of footprints. Just a reminder that with the snow pack gone (early), moose are going to be handing out near roast which up the potential for car moose collisions. If they are out in Gorham I expect RT 302, 115 and rt 3 are in similiar shape.
I think I saw a few wrecks parked at Lowes recently that looked like moose hits.
Remember a car moose collision rarely works out well for either participant. If someone need further motivation to watch for moose, is that the cow moose are out with their babys and if the cow is injured the baby is most likely not going to make it.
