Route: Zealand Trail>Ethan Pond Trail>Zeacliff Trail>Twinway>Zealand summit>Twinway>Zealand Falls Hut>Lend-A-Hand Trail>Hale summit>Hale Brook Trail.
Trail Conditions: Dry until thunderstorms. After and during storms, Twinway and Lend-A-Hand were wet and, in places, muddy.
Special Equipment Required: None.
Comments: Sat out and surrounded by lightning for about an hour along the Twinway near the Zeacliff Pond Spur. It was an electrifying experience.
