The trails from the Zeeland trailhead to Bondcliff including West Bond are all in good condition. There was one small tree down on the West Bond spur and that was it. From Bondcliff down there were as always numerous downed trees but nothing that impeded progress.

The Wilderness trail had numerous spots with mud and standing water. Those spots could, in general, be bypassed without too much difficulty.

The Stream crossings on Bondcliff were all passable. A couple of the lower streams were running a bit high but it was possible to cross without getting your feet wet.

From a dog's standpoint there was plenty of water here and there on the trail for hydration from the Zeeland trailhead to about half way up Guyot. From there to the far side of Bond including West Bond the trail was dry. It would be good to bring water for that section. The Bondcliff side of Bond had water. Descending the Bondcliff trail there was a continual source of water.

We met two "Georgia" hikers today. They're making good time. We also met close to twenty heading to the Guyot campsite.

Lauky was in top form today. He absolutely charged from beginning to end. We stopped at McDonalds afterwards, it was a two hamburger day for Lauky. He earned it.

Special thanks to my wife for picking us up at Lincoln Woods. :)
