I've wanted to hike the abandonded trail ever since my folks came down that way about 45 years ago by mistake. I have good trail sense and have heard it is followable. Is the start right near that first water crossing or is tricky to locate for any reason (brush piled up, etc.) Thanks. Enjoy your posts, blogs, and photos.
