I think it was ice on the rocks. It's funny after that I was very skiddish about stream crossings which I never am. Dog picked up on my vibes and it was over / time to turn around. Anyway as always, happy trails. chris

Nice report on Mt. Caribou. I tried it from 113 /caribou trail on Thursday and fell in at one of the many stream crossings. Decided to call it a day after that. Will have to try it from Bog Rd.

thanks John..pretty nice day for the Ridge for sure..between the 3 of us we took a 100 pics but none really do the undercast justice..slowed us down for sure in places as we just gazed around
